Electronic Navigation Limited approached Fingermark with an interesting solution. They were developing a bridge simulator for The Royal NZ Navy for their New frigate. Instead of using traditional knobs and switches the new simulator would adopt Touchscreen technology to simulate the switches allowing the bridges simulator to display multiple boats and scenarios for training.
We supplied to the Navy 28 large format Fingermark 24-40 inch touch panels which were installed in replacement of the control boards and using software images to activate the controls instead.
This has been a huge success and has attracted positive feedback and interest from all over the world.
